Photos from 2013

It's that time of the year again (actually no, this is way overdue), where I try to summarise some things, but mainly upload random photos from my phone of things that I thought were sorta interesting at the time but didn't really know how to turn into a proper blog post. As you'll probably gather by now, this post will feel rather disconnected when you read it, but then isn't everything I write on this blog like that as well? XD

A family holiday to Hong Kong and Japan was super fun, with my favourite places to eat at being Yue Kee, Hyatt Regency, Kineya and Douraku

Eating El Loco inside the car because I wasn't 18 at the time. And umm, this happened a second time later in the year as well...

BOB farewell BBQ. But I got to see some of you guys at uni and at birthdays so that's good!

I'll admit that I normally bring food from home when it comes to eating lunch at uni, but you can never go wrong with treating yourself with a pork roll once in a while.

When Moochi opened at uni, they had a $2.50 opening special, and even though the line for it was super long, we waited patiently for our froyo. It was definitely worth the wait.

The funniness of this should have definitely worn off by now, but this still manages to make me smile every time I see it.

We went to Tastebuds @ Hills again later in the year, and I swear the food gets better every time we go!

Does it look like the strawberry is pointing at you? (or maybe something behind you?)

I opened the fridge one day, and it smelt really bad. Then I realised that someone had bought a block of $1 cheese and left it in the tray that was in the fridge. I thought it was a great idea to hold it right next to my sister's face while she was gaming until she realised what it was XD

Jenny and Justin's Big Cake Bake. An afternoon of some of the most amazing food ever.

It was scary when I counted the number of times I ate instant noodles during exams.

One night after work, we had a late dinner of chicken, chips, and GARLIC AIOLI!!! Also went to Max Brenner afterwards- pictured is their coffee, with that super cool 'pouch' for your chocolate.

When I came home from dinner one night, my parents asked me "Do you want to go to the fish markets? They're having a 36 hour sale!" (it was a few days before Christmas). So, off we went to the fish markets, arriving there at 12:30ish, and it was still packed with people when we left an hour later. Party at the fish markets!!

I've probably mentioned this way too many times, but olives have to be one of my favourite things to eat.

Had this cold green tea drink before we went to watch Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. Loved that movie so much, I swear I was grinning half the time because the idea of massive food makes me happy.

Hopefully all the writing + photos weren't too boring to go through, and if you've made it this far, thanks for reading on until the end of the post :D

Your posts don't turn up on my dashboard (not sure why Blogger does that) but I came on and BAM, hit with awesome photos and pictures!

I love olives, too. Something about that awesome saltiness.
