Criniti's, Castle Hill

On the night before Christmas eve, we had dinner at Criniti's to celebrate the end of 2013! With 9 people on our table, we decided to go with 4 metres of pizza (which was two 2m pizzas when we ordered it). We got to choose 8 flavours in total, and hmmmm my favourite would have to be the Pistacchio, maybe because it was green. Also, throughout the night, we couldn't stop staring at those massive jars of Nutella on top of the shelves- they looked so yummy!

Dinner ended up being $25ish per person, which was awesome since we each got to take a full pizza box of leftovers home :D And thanks Allan for the lift, your Integra is nice!

Tenkomori Ramen House, Haymarket

After a day of Christmas shopping (hope you guys liked your presents!), my sister and I decided to get a little bit of food to eat before the long bus ride home. Since we were sorta pressed for time, we only got a regular sized bowl of Black Garlic Tonkotsu ($6.50), unfortunately missing out on the other fried things at the counter- the Fried Food Fanatic not taking fried food? What has this world come to ahahaha. I really need to stop laughing at my own "jokes" when I'm typing stuff for this blog... So ummm yeah anyway, what can I say? Soup was creamy and had just the right amount of garlic to it, and there's a massive window for you to look into the kitchen when you're waiting for your ramen. It would be safe to say that I love this place- it's so affordable which makes it perfect for a quick lunch or dinner, and it's even better when you get a cold matcha drink from Chanoma Cafe to have with your ramen.

Asakaze, Parramatta

After the braces for my top teeth were put in, I was under the impression that I couldn't eat anything solid for a while, or shock, horror, had to stop eating altogether. Unfortunately, that plan didn't work out too well because I got sooo hungry by dinner time and started eating harder foods again (mmmm kfc wicked wings), although I admit that I had to tear it up into small pieces. This time, after the braces for my bottom teeth were put in, I went straight to the food court at Parra and shared this tray of food with my sister. This is the Tempura Don ($13.50), and wow that is a massive heap of fried treasures. Favourite had to be the ebi tempura, and sadly, I had to give my crunchy piece of yam to my sister because I thought it was too hard. However, when she ate it, she cringes at me and tells me that it was actually really soft!
